Getting to and Waiting in Calgary

After getting dropped of at international departures (thanks Mom) with 20 minutes to drop off our luggage we immediately ran into a problem, there wasn’t anyone at the Transat desk. After talking to a person at an information booth we found out we needed to go to the domestic terminal. We made it on the plane without trouble after that. The plane sat on the runway for 10-15 minutes then we were off. After a quick flight with an incredible view we arrived in Calgary.

The view from the plane.  Thanks to Morgan for the photo.

While getting off the plane we found out the people sitting behind us are also going to Amsterdam! I don’t remember ever going to Calgary although I’ve been told I went when I was two. The airport is nice and there are surprisingly few people. They have a little road running through it with electric cars ferrying people around. We got our last Tim Horton’s lunch and coffee before leaving Canada then walked over to the gate to start our five hour wait. I took the time to start this blog and Morgan took a nap. All in things are going smoothly!
